She began her career at the Nancy J. Cotterman Center (formerly the Sexual Assault Treatment Center) providing therapy to men, women and children who were victims of sex crimes. Trauma work was immensely rewarding and led to the writing and publishing of a workbook which helps individuals struggling with sexual abuse to get in touch with their emotions and move beyond the trauma to lead healthy more satisfying lives.
Her experience in counseling includes, PTSD, depression, anxiety, trauma, life skills, self-esteem building, relationship issues and family dynamics. I practice person centered counseling based on the individual needs and desires of each client. She enjoy working with clients of all ages and strive to meet individuals where they are emotionally, and look forward to helping all clients achieve their treatment goals.
