Celia Quintas LMHC, M.S. , M.Ed., Ph.D. candidate

I was raised in Brazil where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Education. I then went on to live in Europe where I resided for 8 years. I learned from different cultures living in three countries Italy, England, and France. These experiences not only gave me the privilege to visit various countries, and learn to speak several languages but also allowed to expand my understanding, openness and flexibility in dealing with people. I came to the United States in 1986 where I got a Masters Degree in Education and later a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in community mental health centers as well as in private practice. I use my extensive clinical experience with diverse populations to facilitate the achievement of more meaningful and gratifying goals in life through a systemic and collaborative/narrative approach to psychotherapy. I help individuals and families to apply their talents, improve their relationships and discover meaning in their social, family and work contexts despite the challenges they may face. I am currently working on my Doctoral Degree in Couples and Family Therapy. Do not hesitate to contact me for any further information you may need. I welcome your questions and together with you we will find best answers.
